Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management
Program Philosophy
The Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management is a 12-credit program designed to meet the unique leadership needs of the nonprofit sector. The certificate program is open to current and potential managers employed in a variety of human services, cultural, educational, community development, religious and other nonprofit settings. The curriculum helps to develop students' knowledge and skills in such areas as organizational leadership, recruitment and management of volunteers, marketing and public relations and financial management.
The certificate program is designed to accommodate the schedules of working students through three web-based courses in non-profit management and one classroom-based course in leadership theory and practice. Courses may be completed in any sequence through either part-time or full-time study. Certificate credits can be applied toward the Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.

Eligibility
Individuals who have earned a baccalaureate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited institution in any field are eligible for admission. Consideration to those not meeting the GPA requirement will be given on a case by case basis.
Certificate Requirements
The graduate certificate in Non-profit Management consists of four courses. Three courses are web-based instruction, and one course is classroom-based.
