Higher Education Administration

The Organizational Leadership program has added a concentration in Higher Education Administration. The concentration consists of 4 required courses and a 3 credit (200 hour) internship. The Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration prepares students for positions in higher education in the following areas Student Life, Student Financial Services, Enrollment, Advancement, Academics, and Admissions. The courses in the concentration focus on the practical and day-to-day operations at an institution of higher education. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that job opportunities in higher education are expected to be “excellent” through 2018. Students who leave this program will be immediately employable in the field of higher education administration.
